First few goals

So, Im excited to say I got on the scale today and am 4lbs lighter. :) Yay! But forward to the purpose of my post. Goals. 1. I want to be a great example of health for my family. I am technecally in charge of what they eat by what I buy and what I serve. I want what I serve them to stick with them in their own personal choices as they grow. I would say right now where we stand our eating isn't terrible (well, mine is). The boys love their fruits and veggies. LOVE. It is almost always their first choice. Greek yogurt is also a megafave around here. But lately they have grown to ask for Dr. Pepper or Mountain Dew with regularity, and it is begining to scare me a bit. They LOVE water, they ask for it all the time......and I love it! But this new Dr.Dew thang is crazy. Must fix it. I would love to transition to more natural, raw eating. Less things out of bags, cans, and boxes. 2. I want to be so active my boys have to work at keeping up with me. I want to wake up everyday ready to go. When it is bedtime, I want to be ready to sleep because I burnt my energy up and am ready to replenish. I want my dog to be out of breath from trying to keep up, not from dragging me along. I really want to enjoy walking with her. 3. Visible changes. I need to drop a good 70+ pounds. I have a complete understanding that setting 70 as my first goal is nuts. I will give up before I start. Because I am doing the SlimQuick 25 Challenge, my first Goal is 25 pounds. (But in the back of my head it is really 30. Pant size 8-10 is my long term goal, but for now I would be super happy with a 12. With all that said....here we go. Another day.
